Sponsorship Opportunties

Thanks in advance for allowing me to introduce myself.  I am Phyllis Spivey, coordinator for the 2020 International Houston Black Film festival. I’d love to meet with community minded companies and organizations to discuss a partnership for the upcoming festival.  Last March, our 2019 festival was held at the NRG Stadium, with film screenings held at Regal Cinemas Greenway Grand Palace 24 RPX.  A portion of the proceeds went to to support Veteran Women Aftercare Initiative, a 501 (3c) organization, (Houston Chapter).

Specifically, the VOICE MY STORY campaign which allows veteran women to tell their stories through film.  Film topics tackle feel-good stories of triumphs from their business start-up to mental illness such as PTSD, romance, comedy or whatever topic speaks their whole health, mind, and body.
