Catholic Charities joins us in working with Veteran Women Aftercare Initiative, a 501(c)(3) organization, (Houston Chapter).
One of the key components to iHBFF’s Access to Arts & Entertainment Program is VOICE MY STORY, a campaign which allows veteran women to tell their stories through film. Film topics tackle feel-good stories of triumphs from their business start-up to mental illness such as PTSD, society woes, romance, comedy or whatever topic speaks to their whole health, mind, and body.
Several veterans including, the writer, director and producer of the 30 minute short, “Heaven’s Savior” is Tashandra Poullardwho has answered the call for entries. We are happy to welcome this drama surround human trafficking in the Houston community.
